COMvex 2024: the unique commercial vehicles exhibition of federal significance
May 28-31 the largest exhibition of commercial vehicles and technologies COMvex took place in Moscow Crocus Expo IEC.
250 companies from Belarus, Iran, China, Turkey, Russia and Uzbekistan showcased the most popular equipment, services and technologies that will shape the market for the coming year.
52% of major market players showcased freight and passenger vehicles. 37% of participants showcased auto parts, components, and lubricants. 35% of exhibitors presented trailers and semi-trailers. Also, during the exhibition it was possible to see the latest LCVs (light commercial vehicles), electric vehicles, and advanced IT solutions and service for commercial vehicles.

More than 50 new products were presented to a professional audience and became a bright part of COMvex 2024.
Minsk Automobile Plant introduced a promising flagship - the MAZ-X truck tractor. Yildiz Treiler, a new player in the refrigeration market, showcased a refrigerated semi-trailer with three axles to visitors.
Yaroslavl Motor Plant Avtodiesel introduced new diesel and gas engines by YaMZ.
Dong Feng Trucks presented two model lines of cars: the Q-SERIES chassis and the K-SERIES cargo and passenger van.
AsiaSpecTrade introduced a new Tisin brand of dump trucks based on Beiben chassis.
The bright premiere of BONUM сompany is the latest additions to the BONUM Main line: a three-axle curtain semitrailer and a four-axle container ship.
FAW-Eastern Europe, the official distributor of FAW Trucks in Russia and Belarus, introduced a new commercial vehicle: the J7 low-frame tractor designed for towing ultra-large volume semitrailers.
Company YUTONG introduced two buses: the updated ZK6947 tourist bus and the new ZK6127 HNQ model for suburban and intercity routes.
SANY presented electric tractor models: S653 6x4 TE, S485 4x2 ADR and EV650-34 6x4.

Visitors
The exhibition was attended by 38,735 professionals from 38 countries and 79 regions of Russia, that is on 15% more than last year.
The qualitative composition of the audience is confirmed by figures: top managers and heads of departments make up 62.5% of the attendees. 82.6% of visitors make purchasing decisions.

COMvex Talks conference platform has traditionally become the central place for discussing expert issues, sharing experience and industry insights from leading speakers. The reports from leading industry experts were presented during the 35 sessions.
The organisers of the sessions were both long-standing partners and new associations and companies, such as the Gruzavtotrans, Autostat, Avtoboss, the Association for Safe Driving, ATI.SU, VSK Insurance House and VSK Med.
Vladimir Malyugin, President of the National Association of Freight Motor Transport Gruzavtotrans, shared: "We appreciate our partnership. It is a unique opportunity to show ourselves for the country."

The Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year in Russia
The result of the first day of the exhibition, held on May 28, was the ceremony to award winners of the "Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year 2024" Contest in Russia.
Over 300 industry specialists from the commercial vehicle and logistics service attended and participated in the event.
The competition is held for the 23rd time and it is an annual non-profit event. Its purpose is to identify the winners in several categories, based on the opinions of a jury, consisting of journalists from specialized media. The categories include: "Truck of the Year," "Van/Low-tonnage Truck of the Year," "Bus/Electric Bus of the Year," "Special Prize" (for achievements in the Russian market), "Perspective of the Year" and "Trailer/Semi-trailer of the Year".
An authoritative jury and industry experts used online voting to evaluate the most decent participants. This year, over 3,500 specialists took part in the voting, that is three times more than the last year.
The COMvex exhibition has also been awarded the Golden Steering Wheel and the status of the largest commercial transport exhibition in Russia.
